You are warmly invited to "Sing for Matugga!": an uplifting and enjoyable evening of music and songs from around the world by Ben Rhydding Community Choir and guest musicians, CARAMBA, in support of the Ilkley-based charity Give A Child A Hope at St. John's Church, Ben Rhydding on Saturday 5th July, 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Tickets on the door: £10 adults & under 16's free. Refreshments in the interval.
Rhydding Community Choir was started in 2011 by choir director, Keely Hodgson and sings to raise funds and awareness of the Ilkley-based charity, Give a Child A Hope, which supports the school community of The Revival Centre, in Matugga, Uganda.

Founded in 2002, CARAMBA is based in York; a multi-instrumental group (fiddle, charango, guitars, mandolin, African thumb piano, whistles, and percussion) who sing in 3-part harmony. Unique amongst bands on the folk club circuit, CARAMBA specialises in music from Africa (where band member John was raised) and Latin America, but also covers other styles, such as Cajun, blue grass, folk and others.
