Airedale Hospital and Community Charity is inviting young people to get creative as it launches its annual Christmas card competition.
Airedale Hospital and Community Charity has launched its annual Christmas card competition, inviting children aged 12 and under to design the official festive card for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The chosen artwork will appear on the Trust’s official Christmas e-card, which is shared throughout the festive period.
A prize will also be awarded to the winning artist.
The design will be selected by Trust chief executive Foluke Ajayi.
Foluke Ajayi said:
“This competition is a wonderful opportunity for young people to share their creativity and help spread some festive cheer across our Airedale community.
"|We are always inspired by the imagination and effort that goes into the entries, and we look forward to seeing this year’s designs.”
Entries can be created using any art medium and may be made individually or as a group.
Organisers ask that all artwork is original and created solely by the entrant, and that images taken from films, online searches or artificial intelligence tools are not used.
Charity representatives say the competition continues to be a popular initiative each year.
A spokesperson for Airedale Hospital and Community Charity said:
“We love seeing the creativity and enthusiasm from local children. It’s an uplifting project that brings our community together at a special time of year.”
Designs should be submitted on A4 landscape paper or using a downloadable template available at www.airedalecharity.org.uk/christmas-card-competition.
Entries close on Monday 1st December.
Completed submissions must include the artist’s first name and age, and parent or guardian contact details.
Entries can be posted to Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, Location C33, Airedale General Hospital, Skipton Road, Steeton, Keighley, BD20 6TD.
Anyone seeking more information can email anhsft.charity@nhs.net or call 01535 294870.
