All creatures great and small are invited to an ‘Animal Blessing Service’ being held at St. John`s Church in Ben Rhydding this Sunday (23rd June) from 3.30pm.
Sylvia Walker, Licensed Lay Minister at St. John`s, said: “This is a lovely opportunity to have your companion animal blessed in church, and for well-behaved animals and humans to enjoy getting together! If your animal would not be comfortable in these surroundings eg. a cat, maybe you might like to bring a picture to share?
“Please make sure your animals are kept safe and under good control; and if you have any queries please contact St. John`s church office on 01943 601430 (Tuesday, Thursday or Friday mornings) or email churchoffice@benrhydding.org.uk.
“It would be lovely to see you there!”
