Walks across all 30 wards of the Bradford district aimed at bring the communities together will launch next week from the Keighley and Ilkley constituency area.
A baton, which has been designed by students from Carlton Bolling, will be carried on each of the walks and passed on to the next ward. The baton will be carried by someone in the local area who has contributed to their neighbourhoods and nominated by the Area Offices.
The first walk will start on Tuesday, 1 July from Cliffe Castle Café at 10.30am and walk through some of the landmarks in Keighley and will end at the Keighley train station.
The second walk will take place on Wednesday, 2 July and will begin at 9am from Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Station in Haworth. It will make its way up to Bronte Parsonage for 12pm.
Walk three will start on at the Sue Belcher Centre at 9.30am on Thursday, 3 July and will travel to Keith Thompson Community Centre, Rainbow Community Centre and Hainworth Wood Community Centre end at East Morton Institute.
The fourth walk will start from Ilkley Lido at 10am on Friday, 4 July and end at the Cow and Calf in Ilkley.
The final walk will be in Craven ward with the baton starting in Addingham on Saturday 5 July around 1pm at the Memorial Hall, passing through Silsden on route to Airedale Hospital and the Airedale Centre for mental health before returning to Silsden canal.
The final journey for the Keighley and Ilkley constituency area will hand the Baton over to Shipley constituency at Five Rise Locks in Bingley.
The baton will then be passed on to the Shipley area constituency.
There will be regular updates on the Bradford Council social media as the baton makes its way across the district.

“This is a way to bring our diverse communities together and explore the wonderful areas where we live. It also offers our residents a chance to explore new areas of the district that they may not know so well.
“Thanks to everyone who has been involved in organising the walks and I would encourage people to come along and hopefully enjoy some nice weather and some of the landmarks in our beautiful district.”
The month-long initiative will culminate in a special family fun day at Odsal Stadium on Thursday, 31 July.
