Ilkley Manor House is welcoming back renowned pianist Dale Storr for an unforgettable evening of New Orleans-style piano on Friday from 7:30pm.
Hailed as one of the UK’s leading exponents of New Orleans piano, Dale has wowed audiences across the UK and Europe with his intoxicating piano mastery, as well as sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of the Crescent City. Dale draws in the audience with the rich history behind the music, telling the often risqué stories of his much-loved piano heroes.
Described by Jazz Journal as delivering “authentic barrelhouse pianism and singing” and praised by Blues In Britain as “outrageously talented,” Storr is a seven-time finalist of the British Blues Awards and the winner of the 2015 Best Musical Performance award at the Buxton Fringe Festival.
The concert will take place on Friday, 14 March 2025, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm. Tickets are £14 and can be purchased online via TicketTailor. Visit ilkleymanorhouse.org for all information and upcoming events and to book.
