In just a few days, The Ilkley Food and Drink Festival will launch its sixth annual celebration at the riverside in town.
Set against the backdrop of what The Sunday Times deemed the ‘Best Place to Live’ in the North East, organisers have released the full line-up and running order for all three live stages on East Holmes Field across the weekend, 14th & 15th June.
Michael Johnston, Festival Director said ahead of the festival:
“The programme is designed to meet all ideas of leisure. Whether you want to get involved with live shows, or sink into a deckchair and relax, there’re unique performances across the entire afternoon”.

Saturday, June 14th
Saturday evening (17:45) welcomes Rachel Modest and the Motown Gospel Choir. A Voice UK semi-finalist, trained pianist, and renowned vocalist, Rachel will lead renditions of timeless Motown classics, infused with classic gospel and upbeat pop.

● 17:45 – The Motown Gospel Choir featuring Rachel Modest

The Live Cookery Theatre, in partnership with Yorkshire Food Guide, will host four chef demonstrations by acclaimed Head Chefs from some of the region’s most vibrant restaurants and cookery schools.

● 12:00 – Jenny Culver (Bettys Cookery School)
● 13:00 – Richard Allen (NEET People)
● 14:00 – Doug Crampton (Eight at Gazegill)
● 15:00 – Adam Maddock (Saltmoore)
Hourly circus workshops, family magic shows, and comedy performances are hosted by Dazzling Darren (11:00), Michael Jordan (12:00, 14:00, 16:00), and Darren Mac (13:00, 15:00).
Sunday, June 15th
Sunday evening (17:15) invites one of the UK’s leading tribute acts in Liam Gray as Robbie Williams, celebrating his catalogue of chart-topping hits from the 90s onward.

The Live Cookery Theatre will feature four demonstrations from the likes of MasterChef UK stars, expert Head Chefs, and the minds behind thriving restaurants and businesses.

● 14:00 – Jon Appleby (The Mill Group)
● 15:00 – Thomas Robertson (The Coniston Hotel)
● 16:00 – Bobby Geetha (Fleur, Kerala Canteen, and Nesso Coffee)
The Magic Matt Show (11:00), Darren Mac (12:00, 14:00, 16:00), and Matthew J Magic (13:00, 15:00) highlight the Live Entertainers Stage. Performances include Family Magic and Variety Shows, Comedy Performances, and Interactive Circus Workshops.
