Organisers of the Ilkley Flower Show say they are pleased to announce that the programme schedule for the 2025 show on Saturday 20th September is now available.
This show is the first to be held since Covid and promises to be a successful return for the prestigious event which will be held at a new venue, All Saints Church in Ilkley.
Classes will include Vegetable & Fruit, Flowers, Photography, Art & Handicrafts, Baking & Preserves and a Children's Section.
A spokesperson for the new committee said:
"We are quite excited and are looking for more members and helpers.
"The show will include children’s classes through to other generations by the inclusion of an exhibition of Spoon decorations from Abbeyfield.
"The Ilkley and Villages Sparrow Street initiative is in partnership with Moss and Moor Garden Centre. Over the last fifty years, urban sparrow populations have fallen by 70%. This August and September Moss and Moor have donated and asked the local Ilkley and District Guides, Brownies & Scouts to decorate bird boxes that will be installed around Ilkley and the outlying villages to reverse their decline.
"Come along to the Flower Show and judge their efforts in making these decorative and essential habitats before they go up around the local area."
Those wishing to enter can obtain their entry forms (within schedules) from Moss n Moor, Tesco, Booths, Ilkley library, Clarke Foley Community Hub and Christchurch.
The committee spokesperson added:
"Schedules and entry forms are also available from a number sponsors premises, as listed below, to who we are extremely grateful for all their support."

The show is open to the public from 2pm until 4:30pm with all prizes for all the winners being presented at 3:45pm. There will also be a raffle and silent auction, details of which are in the show programme.
