White House Farm on the Bolton Abbey Estate has been listed for Let for the first time in a generation.
The home was once the centrepiece of the Halton East Estate, and was part of a significant agricultural holding that included four working farms, 16 cottages, and Halton Hall.
The 733-acre estate was auctioned in Ilkley in June 1945.
The Duke of Devonshire bought the property in August 1946, becoming part of the Bolton Abbey Estate.
The farmhouse remained untouched for almost 50 years before undergoing an extensive restoration.

White House Farm includes five ensuite bedrooms, three reception rooms, and a bespoke kitchen, with period details combined with modern finishes.
An adjoining traditional barn offers potential for conversion into office space, a studio, or guest accommodation, subject to planning permission.
The property also includes 1.2 acres of private south-facing garden, with views across Skipton Moor.
Rent is listed at £5,500 per month, which includes the services of a gardener.
Heidi Beattie, Estate Director at Bolton Abbey, said:
“We are delighted to bring The White House to market.
"The house represents an opportunity to inhabit a very special corner of Yorkshire, and to be part of our unique rural community.
"For anyone who has ever walked the footpaths of Bolton Abbey and wondered what it might be like to call it home, we look forward to welcoming you to the neighbourhood.”

Other properties, including Laund House, the former home of the Dowager Duchess, and Laund Cottage, are also set to become available to rent.
Laund House was visited by Beatrix Potter in the early 20th century, while Laund Cottage is a two-bedroom flat with garden and parking.
