Over three days in May, five Ilkley artists will open their studios and invite everyone into their working environments.
From a metalsmithing warehouse workshop, to a kitchen full of easels where Yorkshire Dales landscapes are created, to sheds full of glorious sketches, basements full of experimental multi media works and street art, and beautiful rooms full of exhibition-ready works – many of these places are rarely open to the public, so the weekend offers a special treat.
Several of the artists will be demonstrating their work in progress, some using metal, some using paint, or pastel, or even a screen: the visit becomes a fascinating experience for the senses! All work will be for sale.

The participating artists are:
CAROLINE SMITH: joyful paintings of people and places: 3 Wilton Rd Ilkley LS29 9PG
JOHN GILES: fascinating, experimental multi media: 25 Crossbeck Rd Ilkley LS29 9JP
KERRY J STOKER (pictured above): colourful abstract paintings and collages: 12 Hollingwood Rise Ilkley LS29 9PW
LUCIA SMITH: uplifting and bold: the Yorkshire Dales: 35 Grange Estate Ilkley LS29 8NW
TOM BROMLEY: the proud art of metalsmithing: Unit B Central Garage Wharfe View Rd Ilkley LS29 8DU
