Ilkley and District u3a will be holding its Showcase 2024 on Saturday 15th June, at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Cunliffe Road between 10:30am and 1pm.
Ilkley and District u3a is one of the largest and most buoyant mutual learning organisations in the northern region. With 2000-plus members across lower Wharfedale, and a range in excess of 100 diverse groups and activities, from Art Appreciation and Railways to Singing and Walking Cricket - and everything in between! The retired and semi-retired learn together and share their skills.
A spokesperson for the organisation said: "This annual Showcase is an opportunity to meet our group-leaders and members, and check out the huge range of activities taking place daily right across the area.
"Call into the Clarke Foley Community Hub on 15th June for a cup of tea and a chat, meet our group leaders and Trustees, and think about joining up for the bargain price of £15."
Along with visiting the Showcase, more information about Ilkley and District u3a can be found the website: https://ilkleyu3a.org/
