Ilkley Harriers' latest 0-5k course starts on Tuesday 6th May, where complete beginners to running will be taught the basics and work up to a distance of 5km.
The programme is over six weeks and will take anyone who would like to join from 0-5km using a mixture of walking, jogging and then running - it is completely free, everyone very welcome.
It will be led by England Athletics registered coach Jane Bryant, who will be assisted by other coaches and leaders in running fitness as well as plenty of experienced club members, some of whom started their own running journey by doing this same 0-5k course.
Jane says:
"Running can be a daunting prospect at first. We want to give you the confidence to run and enjoy it, with our support."
If it's something you would like to do, please sign up at https://signup.com/go/HFuEtYV and Ilkley Harriers will be in touch with more details.
Deadline for signing up is 22nd April so that you can be sent your pre 0-5km plan.
