Ilkley Town Council has postponed today's [4 August] Play In The Park event due to Storm Floris.
Conforming on Facebook, a council spokesperson said it will now take place on Thursday 14 August 2025.
The dates for the rest of summer are:
- Monday 11 August
- Thursday 14 August
- Monday 18 August
- Wednesday 27 August
*all 11am-3pm
A Met Office weather warning is in place for Storm Floris until 6am on Tuesday [5th August].
A spokesperson for The Met Office said:
"Storm Floris is likely to bring a spell of unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds to northern UK on Monday into early Tuesday.
"Heavy rain may also contribute to the disruption in places."
Winds of 60 to 70mph are expected and residents are being warned to expect some delays to road and rail transport, and disruption to flights is possible at Leeds Bradford Airport.
