Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group say it is thrilled to announce its support for neighbouring Keighley Pride, taking place on Saturday, 16th August from 1pm.
This partnership between two vibrant LGBTQ+ organisations highlights a shared commitment to inclusion, celebration, and community spirit across West Yorkshire.
Keighley Pride at Cougar Park is now a staple of the town’s summer calendar, promises a vibrant afternoon of live music, community stalls, family-friendly entertainment, and powerful messages of equality. Attendees can look forward to six fantastic live performances, ranging from dazzling drag acts to high-energy party classics. Headlining the event is Randall Butler, the award-winning George Michael tribute artist whose powerful vocals and charisma have wowed audiences nationwide.
“We’re proud to stand alongside our sister Pride in Keighley,”
said David Shaw MBE, Chair of Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group.
“This is more than just a celebration - it’s a statement of solidarity. By supporting each other, we amplify the message that LGBTQ+ people belong everywhere, and that joy and pride are contagious.”
Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group will be contributing volunteers, resources, and promotional efforts to help ensure Keighley Pride is a safe, inclusive, and vibrant event for all. The collaboration reflects a growing regional movement to build stronger, more connected communities through shared purpose. Both organisations are also active contributors to Bradford Districts LGBTQIA+ alliance, coordinated by BMDC.

A spokesperson for Keighley Pride said:
“We’re excited to welcome residents from Ilkley and beyond to Keighley Pride.
“With free entry, free kids’ activities, and free car parking right next door at FibreLine, it’s a fantastic day out for families, friends, and allies. Whether you're coming for the music, the atmosphere, or to stand proudly with the LGBTQ+ community, Keighley Pride is all about joy, inclusion, and togetherness - and we can’t wait to celebrate with you."
