Ilkley Town Council has announced the annual town meeting will be held at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Wednesday 19th March from 7pm.
A spokesperson for Ilkley Town Council said:
“The Annual Town Meeting is convened by the Chair of Ilkley Town Council, and is a meeting of local electors, not a Council meeting.
“This year the meeting will focus on the work of local community organisations and will celebrate the contributions made by local volunteers through the new citizens award scheme. The meeting is also an opportunity for residents to have their input into matters that affect Ilkley.
“The meeting will include the Mayor’s annual report and presentations to the winners of the Citizen Award Scheme.
“All are welcome to attend.”
The evening will start at the Clarke Foley Community Hub on Cunliffe Road with a showcase of local community organisations and light refreshments from 6.30pm and the meeting will begin at 7.00pm.
