KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is expanding its operations at Leeds Bradford Airport with a fourth-daily service to Amsterdam Schipol this winter.
KLM has long provided vital connectivity for both business and leisure travellers across Yorkshire, with passengers able to access over 160 destinations worldwide.
The new frequency builds on the airline’s strong regional presence and will offer even more convenient options for connecting through Amsterdam to long-haul destinations across the Americas, Asia, Africa, and beyond.
The news of the additional daily frequency will also be a welcome boost for inbound tourism.
Jerome Salemi, General Manager of Air France-KLM (UK & Ireland), said:
“We’re thrilled to be deepening our presence in Yorkshire with this fourth-daily service from Leeds Bradford to Amsterdam.
"The growing demand from both leisure and business travellers in the region clearly demonstrates the value of strong global connectivity through our hub at Schiphol.
"This new frequency reflects our continued commitment to serving the needs of our UK regions with greater choice and flexibility.”
John Cunliffe, Commercial and Strategy Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, added:
“It’s fantastic news that KLM is increasing flight capacity to four daily services between Leeds Bradford Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
"This is great news not only for Yorkshire travellers looking to enjoy Amsterdam this winter, but also for those connecting to destinations across Europe and all around the world.
"The enhanced service reinforces Leeds Bradford Airport’s position as a key gateway to global destinations.
"We look forward to welcome more passengers through the newly launched terminal on their travels to Amsterdam and beyond."
