Leeds United legends bring stories and banter to Ilkley’s King’s Hall

Leeds legends Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister are coming to Ilkley

Two of Leeds United’s most celebrated figures, Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister, will take the stage at Ilkley’s King’s Hall on Wednesday 25 February 2026 for an evening of memories, insight and fan interaction.

The event celebrates the pair’s roles in Leeds United’s triumphant 1991–92 First Division campaign and offers supporters a rare chance to hear first-hand stories from one of the club’s most iconic squads.

The night, hosted by former Leeds United player Andy Couzens, promises a lively mix of anecdotes, tactical discussion and light-hearted banter. Strachan and McAllister will reflect on their playing days, the challenges and triumphs of that title-winning season, and how the game has changed since the early 1990s. Audience members will also have the opportunity to pose questions directly to the two legends during a dedicated Q&A segment.

“This is a special chance to bring together teammates and fans to relive moments that mean so much to Leeds supporters.

“I’m looking forward to this event with two great friends and two of the greats from Leeds United’s 1992 winning team. The football talk and banter will be flowing — it’s going to be a great night.”

The event features tiered ticket options, including a VIP meet-and-greet package. VIP ticketholders will receive the best seats in the house, meet Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister before the show, and receive an exclusive commemorative item.
