Nick Hancock is taking over the breakfast show on Rombalds Radio from Monday 3rd June 2024.
Nick presented the Stray FM breakfast show across Skipton and Ilkley for 8 years from 2012 until Stray FM closed down in 2020.
The new show will have all the essential elements to start your day including local news, travel information and accurate weather forecasts - plus Nick’s dry sense of humour!
Nick can’t wait to get started:
“What a privilege to get to be a part of your breakfast times again - whether you’re getting ready for school or driving to work. Luckily I am a morning person - powered by a large coffee - and I promise to make it a bright and local start to the day.”
The move means Stuart Clarkson finally gets a lie in! Four years after launching Rombalds Radio Breakfast, Stuart moves to a brand new weekday Lunchtime show from 12-2pm.
Stuart, who started his radio career in Skipton on Yorkshire Dales Radio back in the late 90s, said:
“Lunchtime is a great time to catch up on the day’s big news around the local area, especially if you’re working from home. We’ll also be previewing all the upcoming events and playing some great music to make your workday go a bit smoother.”
Nick Babb will continue to host his highly popular Drive show from 3pm, with Alex Cann moving to weekday mid mornings - the slot he presented on Stray FM for many years.
