Organisers of the 9th five-mile Solstice Saunter are inviting people to join them at the beautiful Bolton Abbey Estate on the longest day of the year, 21st June, and help raise vital funds for Sue Ryder.
The event is organised by the Airedale Dodgers Running Club in aid of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, who support people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
The Solstice Saunter is a circular route that starts from the Cavendish Pavilion car park and runs a clockwise loop up through the Strid Wood to Barden Bridge, then back along the river bank to the finish line at Cavendish Pavilion.
Every participant will receive a Solstice Saunter medal.
Entry costs £15-£26 and includes free admission to the Estate and riverside car park.
To register and find out more visit www.sueryder.org/get-involved/fundraise-for-us/events/solstice-saunter/

The event is sponsored by Ecology Building Society and Cobbydale Forge.
There is also the option to do your own Virtual Solstice Saunter, running a five-mile route of your choice on the longest day and includes a Solstice Saunter medal.
