Ilkley's MP Robbie Moore has launched his 2024 Small Business Awards following the success of last year’s competition, which saw over 4,500 votes cast.
The local MP is inviting residents to nominate and vote for their favourite small business across Keighley, Ilkley, Craven and the Worth Valley by visiting www.robbiemoore.org.uk/nominate to take part.
The competition will award four businesses the accolade of Best Small Business for the areas of Keighley, Ilkley, the Worth Valley and Craven, before an overall winner is of the four is announced.
Last year, Industry Barbers in Haworth were voted Overall Best Small Business in the public vote, with the Barber/Barista also taking the crown of the Worth Valley’s Best Small Business.
Also winners last year were Boutique Olé in Silsden taking the top spot in Craven, Bingley View Dogpark taking the title of Keighley’s Best Small Business and New Brook Street Deli coming top in the Ilkley and Addingham area.
Mr Moore will visit each of this year’s winners with prizes to celebrate their awards.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday, 15th December 2024.
Robbie said:
“Now more than ever does our small business community need to be celebrated and supported. I’m delighted to be launching this year’s awards after the huge success of last year, where the support shown for small businesses across our area was absolutely incredible.
If you have a favourite local small business that you believe deserves recognition,
"I encourage you to participate in the competition by nominating them at RobbieMoore.org.uk/nominate, I wish everyone Good Luck!”
