At a recent lunch meeting, The Rotary Club of Ilkley handed out the proceeds from the annual Andrew Hartley Memorial Business Quiz.
Club President Chris Pacsoo presented a cheque for £650 to both Lucy Steer from Ilkley & District Good Neighbours and Joe Short from the Clarke Foley Community Hub at the Wheatley Hotel on Tuesday 3rd June.
Both Lucy and Joe expressed their gratitude to the Rotary Club of Ilkley and its members for their generosity and outlined both their respective plans and challenges for both organisations. They also said that where ever possible they would work together in partnership.
The Rotary Club of Ilkley has a long history of working with both organisations over the years and both President Chris Pacsoo and President Elect Martin Smith both said that would continue going forward.
