For two days only next month, more than 20 talented local artists will open their doors and welcome visitors into their private workspaces.
On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025, from 10am–4pm, Ilkley Arts invites the public to take part in one of the town’s most anticipated cultural weekends: Open Studios 2025.
From painting, drawing and printmaking, to sculpture, jewellery, textiles and mixed media, the event showcases the extraordinary breadth of creativity in Ilkley and the surrounding area. Open Studios offers something for everyone, whether you are an established collector, a curious first-time buyer, or simply looking for a fascinating day out.
To make exploring easy, Ilkley Arts will provide an interactive online map and a printable version (coming soon) via their website. Visitors can use these to plan their route across town, seek out their favourite artists, or simply enjoy the adventure of discovering unexpected new work.
The Ilkley Arts Studio, located next door to Ilkley Manor House, will also be open across the weekend as a welcoming hub. Here visitors can view the map, find details of all participating artists, and plan their own personal trail before setting off.
Open Studios is more than an exhibition, it’s about connection. Visitors can chat directly with artists, watch demonstrations of techniques, and enjoy the unique buzz of stepping into spaces normally hidden from view. Many say the conversations are as memorable as the art itself.
All the information and online map will be available at www.ilkleyarts.org
