The Swing City Big Band is proud to present its tribute to over 60 years of iconic Bond theme music at Ilkley’s King’s Hall next month.
The Swing City Big Band was formed in 2008 with musicians from around the Settle, Skipton, Colne and Burnley areas, and entertains audiences across North Yorkshire and Lancashire with its mixture of traditional Big Band and contemporary musical arrangements.
The Band and its amazing vocalists have been performing their James Bond themed concert to sell out venues for the last two years. Most recently appearing at The Bolton Arena, where they played in front of the President of 007GB The British James Bond Fan Club, and Caroline Munro, who played Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me , alongside Roger Moor. Caroline thought the band were ‘Absolutely Wonderful’ and the arrangement of ‘No Body Does It Better’, was one of the best she has ever heard.

This is an evening not just for James Bond fans, but for those who appreciate great music performed by an outstanding band.
A Night Of James Bond, Featuring The Swing City Big Band and Special Guest vocalists is at the Kings Hall and Winter Garden, Ilkley on Saturday 7th September 2024.
