Ilkley Town Council has commissioned a community consultation to help inform its plans and priorities over the next few years.
The survey seeks to receive feedback on and awareness of current town council services and the importance of other local community facilities. Responses and data will be used to help inform future projects and budget planning.
The consultation will be distributed to every household in mid-May in the centre pages of the Spring 24 newsletter and for ease of completion will also be available on the council website until Friday 28th June 2024.
Additionally, consultation events will take place on Wednesday 5 June, 6pm-8pm, and Saturday 8 June, 10am-12pm, at the Clarke Foley Community Hub. Residents will be able to complete the survey in person and ask questions or for assistance from councillor representatives.
Newly elected Town Mayor, Councillor Damian Kearns, said: “this community consultation is an important exercise in local democracy, the results of which will be significant for Ilkley in the coming years.
“It is an opportunity for everyone to have their say and help shape our future. There are numerous ways to take part and I urge everybody to get involved.
“Ilkley Town Council look forward to sharing the consultation results later in the year”.
