Photography for Beginners Workshop

Led by photoILKLEY’s Founder and Artistic Director, Andreea Chitan will lead these hands-on sessions to help you build confidence with your camera (or even your phone), understand the basics of exposure, composition and light, and start creating stronger images that tell a story.

Andreea studied photography at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London — the world’s most influential postgraduate institution of art and design, with alumni including David Hockney. Expect practical tips, guided exercises, and plenty of time to ask questions and experiment in a supportive environment.

No experience needed — just bring your curiosity (and your camera or phone).
