Poet Liz McPherson and her brother Nick Wood who will be performing with The Mustard Brothers.

Liz McPherson's poetry has been widely published in both print and online poetry journals and anthologies, including Prole, The High Window, The Lake, and Black Nore Review, among others. She was runner-up in the 2021 Poetry Society Stanza Competition and has been shortlisted for the 2024 Leeds Peace Poetry Prize. A familiar face at open mic events across West Yorkshire, she recently headlined at Gobby in the Lobby in Wakefield.

Liz’s work explores the unanticipated aspects of life with her unique combination of humour and sensitivity. Unexpected Items will be published by Yaffle in October 2024.

The Fabulous Mustard Brothers are an Otley based acoustic trio, playing original songs about the vicissitudes of modern life, and the weather.
