The Waterman Piano Recital

Every year this recital invites a top young concert pianist to Ilkley to perform and inspire our audience and pianists across the generational divide. This year the concert features pianists Yuanfan Yang and Siqian Li playing a programme of dances including: Bach – Schubert – Schumann -Chopin -Liszt -Fauré -Debussy -Dvoräk -Lecuona - Ginestera and Piazzolla.

Before the recital at 11 am -12:30 pm there is the opportunity to partake or observe in a piano clinic lead by Yuanfan and Siqian. An opportunity not to miss!

In memory of Dame Fanny Waterman 1920 - 2020
Co-Founder of The Leeds International Piano Competition and Yorkshire’s most illustrious piano teacher.
