The 'Printastic Printorama' exhibition of work produced by members at Outside the Box, hosted at the Tinker Gallery, is proving to be a huge success with the final chance to view this weekend.
The recent exhibition launch event attracted lots of visitors to the gallery and without exception, all were impressed and inspired by the work on display. Some so much so that they bought pieces to take home!
The exhibition displays works in collage, pencil and paint from the members of Outside the Box's Printmaking Group, and visitors to the launch event included many parents, carers, supporters of the charity as well as local residents and visitors to the town. The reception to the exhibition was hugely positive, with visitors commenting on the 'overwhelming joyfulness' of the artwork, with requests for copies to be made of various pieces as well as originals being sold.
Beth Edwards, Marketing and Events Officer at Outside the Box said:
"The 'Printastic Printorama' has been a fantastic experience for all involved. To see the pride from our members was incredibly moving, and it was brilliant to see their hard work so beautifully displayed at Tinker Gallery. The positive reception from everyone who visited is a testament both to the talent and hard work of the OTB team, and the necessity of continued intentional inclusivity within the arts."
Many of the members of Outside the Box Print Group whose work was exhibited attended the exhibition with friends and family. They all are keen for their art to be exhibited again in the future, having found the experience "interesting", "enjoyable" and "creative". Morgan, a member of the Printmaking Group, said his favourite part of the exhibition was "seeing my pictures on the wall, my friends thought they were very nice, it made me feel great".

The funds raised from sales of the work will be used by the Print Group to hold a special celebration of all their work and to support their future work.
The team at Outside the Box gives huge thanks to Jo and her team at Tinker Gallery, its members, OTB tutors and support workers, and for the support of the local community.
The exhibition is still open and can be viewed on Saturday 31st January between 10am to 4pm at the Tinker Gallery, 25 Church Street, Ilkley.
