Ilkley Harriers officially turned 40 on May 1st, from just a small group of passionate runners back in 1986, the Club has grown into a thriving community of almost 500 members today.
The Club is marking this milestone with two fantastic weekends of celebrations in June.
On Sunday 14th June, Ilkley Harriers will take on the iconic Ilkley Skyline as a relay event, followed by a social gathering at Bini Brew Co from 4–6pm. Which it says will be a great chance to catch up, share memories, and celebrate together.
Then on Saturday 20th June, the Club will be taking over the East Holmes Field parkrun. Funds raised from the parkrun cake sale will be donated to Moortime.
A spokesperson for the Ilkley Harriers said:
"If you were one of the Club’s early members, we would love for you to join us at Binibrew from 4-6pm and be part of this special anniversary celebration.
"For more details and to let us know if you would like to join us at Binibrew, please email secretary@ilkleyharriers.org.uk."
