Bradford Council is publishing proposals this week which if they go ahead will see the removal of the free 1-hour street parking in Ilkley.

Ilkley Town Council [ITC] has arranged a drop-in session on 3rd July to gather feedback from residents who feel they have been affected by the 20mph scheme introduced by Bradford Council [BMDC].

Staff members and volunteers from across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and AGH Solutions were honoured at a special event last week held in Ilkley.

Thanks to campaigning from local groups and residents, and funding from Ilkley Town Council, a number of large boulders have been placed in strategic areas around the Riverside Gardens.

Lister Horsfall, one of Ilkley’s most prestigious jewellers, has announced a community-driven collaboration with the organisers of the Ilkley Cycle Races to raise vital funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, a regional charity committed to transforming the lives of disadvantaged children across the county.

A competition being run by photoILKLEY, Ilkley’s first-ever photography festival on 11 to 13 July, closes on Monday, 16 June 2025.
