Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is encouraging people to join as a member, at a very important time as the trust's plans are well underway for the new hospital.
For those with an interest in local healthcare and who would like to find out more about the work of your local hospital, becoming a member of the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is being encouraged.
Membership is free and open to everyone aged 14 or above, living in the community that the trust serves.
Members receive updates from Governors and as a member, can vote for others to represent them on the Trust’s Council of Governors, or stand for election themselves.
Linda Dobson, Lead Governor and Governor for Keighley Central/East said:
“It’s an exciting time to be involved as the NHS 10 year plan is put into action and more community-based healthcare is on the agenda.”
At the same time, the trust is moving ahead with plans for the new hospital, which offers a real opportunity to contribute to ensuring the right healthcare is provided for our communities, for now and in the future.”
Join here or find out more about membership on the trust's website here.
The trust will hold elections for vacant governor seats in March, you can find out more about what governors do here.
