Three Little Birds Bakery has thanked Ilkley residents for their incredible support after its new town centre shop enjoyed a sell-out opening weekend.
The independent bakery opened its doors on The Grove on Saturday (25th July), with customers queuing throughout the day to get their hands on its popular cakes and bakes.
Demand proved so strong that the shelves were empty by 1.20pm.
Three Little Birds opened its first shop in Keighley in 2023, building on a business that began in owner Rebecca Severs' kitchen in 2015. Today, the bakery is known for its cupcakes, slices, cookies, macarons and bespoke ocassion cakes.
The new Ilkley bakery marks the next chapter for the business, featuring a dedicated space for wedding consultations, with customers also able to collect celebration cakes from the shop from September.

Over the years, the bakery has built a loyal following of more than 60,000 people across social media and even created a cake for Spice Girl Mel B in 2021.
Adding to the excitement surrounding the opening, Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore visited the bakery on Monday (27th July), later sharing his support on social media.
He said:
"I really do wish Bec and her team all the very best as they continue to thrive, selling delicious cakes, macaroons, and all things delightful."

The bakery sold out for a second consecutive day on Monday, with owner Bec taking to social media to thank customers for their patience and encouragement as the team adapts to the huge demand.
She said:
"It's amazing that it's been so busy."
"We are going to fine tune and adjust, it's just a bit of a learning curve as you can imagine."
"Thank you for all the positivity. It's just been really nice that even though we have sold out people are so positive and cheering us on in everything."
Three Little Birds Bakery, on The Grove in Ilkley, is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am until 5pm and on Saturdays from 9.30am until 3.30pm.
