Independent brewery, Bini Brew Co, has launched a £35,000 crowdfunding campaign to reunite its brewery and tap room in the heart of Ilkley.
Founded in Ilkley by father-and-son duo James and Nick Rudge, and named after the family cat, after two years in Leeds, plan to bring its operation back home.
Bini Brew Co is a community-focused microbrewery and James and Nick say that despite the brewery relocated to Leeds in 2023 to support growth, the community support in Ilkley has remained the soul of the brand.
Nick said:
“We’ve loved our time in Leeds, but Ilkley is where our heart is.
“We’ve now found the perfect building on Little Lane where we can bring both sides of Bini – the brewery and the tap room – together in one beautiful space.”
The new venue on Little Lane offers the space and character Bini has long dreamed of, including:
• Dedicated brew kit space
• Expanded customer seating
• Enclosed outdoor area
• Classic red brick charm
• Room for live music & street food

The new tap room will continue Bini's tradition of being a relaxed, family- and pet-friendly space, with regular events, delicious food trucks, and of course, freshly brewed beer served just feet from where it’s made.
James and Nick say the community can now get involved in making this dream a reality. Through the Crowdfunder platform, supporters can donate and receive generous rewards – including pre-loaded bar tab cards, discounts on Bini beer for life, and exclusive experiences.
Nick added:
“All pledges are welcome, no matter the size - and yes there’s free beer involved!”
