The new Burley-in-Wharfedale community Pump Track officially opens this Saturday, 30 May.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30a.m. followed by a full day of riding, food and family-friendly activities. The track will remain open to the public after the ceremony,
Contractor, Velosolutions UK, are doing the final touches to the track and line painting this week ahead of the big day.
A spokesperson said:
"Come down and celebrate the opening of the pump track with us this Saturday. Let’s hope for some more sunshine above us for a full day of laps, more laps, food, drink and hanging out."
"Bring bikes, scooters, blades, balance bikes, skateboards, helmets (of course). Picnic blanket also recommended so you can enjoy goodies from food and drink companies."
