Ilkley engineering company Ideal Extraction has announced an office move to the International Development Centre on Valley Road as a result of business expansion.
Ideal Extraction, owned by directors Steve and Helen Rhodes, design, install and maintain dust and fume extraction systems for many sectors across the UK.
The company had been trading from premises at the Lencia Industrial Estates since 2020, but the addition of new employees due to the increase in business necessitated a larger office facility.
They have retained their warehouse operations at the industrial estate, but all office staff now work at the Grade II listed Development Centre.
The company will be celebrating its fifth birthday this year, although Steve and Helen have many years of experience in the industry after previously owning a successful company, Cades Ltd, which operated in the same field from 1996 until 2015.
The expansion and office move mark a significant milestone for the business which has established a reputation for delivering exceptional service with an impeccable attention to detail, as well as building long lasting relationships with their clients.
They are also the proud sole UK supplier for Denmark-based Moldow A/S, a leading international supplier of industrial dust and fume extraction machinery.
Speaking about the move, Helen said:
“We’re delighted to be working at the International Development Centre. It’s such a beautiful building, both inside and out, which successfully combines a wealth of heritage and historical significance with 21st century state-of-the-art facilities.
“We’re also very happy that we’ll be able to celebrate our fifth trading anniversary in our new offices. A fifth anniversary is traditionally marked by the gift of wood, which does seem very apt given our line of work and the fact that we work with some very well-known high street furniture manufacturers.
“The move reflects our commitment to continue providing well designed and top-class dust extraction solutions to our clients and we’re very much looking forward to continued growth and success.”
Ideal Extraction work with companies of all sizes and offer servicing, maintenance and Local Exhaust Ventilation testing of existing extraction equipment as well as new installations.
