The owners of Clayful in the Moors Shopping Centre have announced their decision to close the shop.
Clayful was the brainchild of mother and daughter team, Jacqui and Fran Brett, and opened in 2024.
In a statement on Facebook the pair say the closure is 'Due to lots of different reasons', but they have 'loved every minute of running Clayful in Ilkley and are so grateful to all our wonderful customers for your support and we are so grateful for all the wonderful people we’ve met!'
If you have items to collect, they are finished and ready, to arrange collection contact them on 07305705175.
They added:
"Don’t worry though, this isn’t the last you’ll see of us! We will be going forward just focusing on our mobile workshops!
"This just made a lot more sense for us financially and for our family. So we will be doing mobile events like pop up events, Birthday and Hen parties etc as well corporate events like nursing homes, hospitals, brand events and corporate wellness days."
Keep an eye on the Clayful social media for updates and the website is refreshed with details of the mobile service and upcoming events.
