Organisers of the Ilkley Half Marathon & 5K are inviting the whole town to enjoy a fantastic day out at the Event Village on West Holmes Field on Sunday 12 July 2026.
Ilkley & District Round Table have arranged live music, family activities, food and drink, and plenty of opportunities to cheer on the runners.
Whether you're supporting a runner or simply looking for a great community event, the Event Village will be the heart of race day, offering entertainment and attractions throughout the day in a lively festival atmosphere.
One of the day's highlights will be a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast (timings to be confirmed), providing a spectacular tribute overhead for visitors and runners alike.
Families are also encouraged to make the most of the dedicated Youth Zone, offering unlimited access to activities for just £10 per child. Even better, children who complete that morning's Junior Parkrun can enjoy the Youth Zone completely free of charge, making it a fantastic incentive for young people to get active before continuing the fun at the Event Village.

The entertainment continues throughout the day with live performances from local favourites The Archives and The Strokez, alongside music from resident DJ Andre Bravado, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy while soaking up the race-day atmosphere.
Visitors can also browse a wide range of local traders and community stalls, enjoy delicious food and drink, and witness the excitement as thousands of runners complete the challenging 13.1-mile course through the stunning Wharfedale countryside.
Pete Haigh, Race Director, said:
"The Ilkley Half Marathon & 5K is about so much more than the race itself. The Event Village has grown into a real community celebration, bringing together residents, visitors, families and local businesses for a brilliant day out. With fantastic live music, a dedicated youth area, great food and drink, and the excitement of the finish line, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We'd love to see as many people as possible come along and be part of the day."
The Event Village is free to enter and open to everyone, making it the perfect place to spend part of your weekend while supporting the runners and enjoying everything the event has to offer.
The event village opens at 9:00am with the Ilkley Half Marathon runners lining up for a 10:30am start and the 5K at 11:00am. The latest information will be on the website ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk and socials @ilkleyhalf
