HOTEL Chocolat has has applied for a licence to sell alcohol at its first store in the Bradford District.
The luxury chocolatier this week applied for an alcohol licence for 4 Brook Street – formerly Cooplands Bakery in Ilkley town centre.
Other businesses within the Station Plaza are M&S Simply Food, Pizza Express, Alpkit, La Stazione, Caffe Nero and Mountain Warehouse.
The company confirmed to the Local Democracy Reporting Service said more details of the store would be announced in the coming weeks.
The licence bid submitted to Bradford Council is for “Sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm.”
People have until August 21 to comment on the application.
As well as chocolates, Hotel Chocolate stocks a number of chocolate themed spirits and liqueurs.
The company opened its first store in London in 2004, and now has over 120 branches. Despite having multiple branches in Leeds, the company has no branches in the Bradford District.
