A singer songwriter from Ilkley, Siena Anderson, has launched a new album with her indie jazz band, ‘Phantom Bagman’ - and they are preparing for a gig in Leeds.
Siena has had success recently with a BBC Introducing selection performing at ‘The Glasshouse’ in Gateshead, formerly known as ‘The Sage’.
Phantom Bagman were described by The Glasshouse as “artists who are quietly gearing up to be something big”. Their new album available on most streaming platforms.
The band is a Co-Operative which started as a group of friends from university and has spread into an ensemble of like-minded music lovers. The music fuses elements of Indie Rock, Funk, and Soul with Modern Jazz aesthetics,
Siena said:
"It would be great to have support for home-grown musical talent and output from Ilkley. Please do have a listen to our releases and love the ones you like!"
Phantom Bagman are playing at The Domino in Leeds on Sunday 10 May at 8pm and free tickets/table reservations are available from: www.visitleeds.co.uk/whats-on/all-events/phantom-bagman-indie-jazz-group-live-free/
