The next Ilkley Civic Society walk will look at the history of West View Park, now Darwin Gardens, and Mill Ghyll.
Led by local historian Alex Cockshott, the walk is on Saturday 31st May, meeting at Darwin Gardens car park at 2.45pm for a 3pm start.
"The walk will take you around the Green and down through Mill Ghyll, learning about the history of the area from when there was a bandstand in West View Park in the early 1900s through to the opening of Darwin Gardens at the turn of the new millennium, 25 years ago."
It is free to park in Darwin Gardens car park. There is no cost to take part in the walk, but donations are welcomed to the Ilkley Civic Society.
