Looking ahead to the 2025 Ilkley Half Marathon, a brand-new 5K race is being introduced, giving even more people the chance to be part of this much-loved community event.
Organisers say the 5K race is perfect for those looking for a shorter challenge—whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a quick time or a newcomer taking your first steps into racing.
Taking place alongside the Ilkley Half on 13th July, the 5K will be open to runners aged 11 and over, and feature the same electric atmosphere, stunning Yorkshire scenery, and fantastic community support that make the Ilkley Half Marathon such a special occasion.
Further details will be release soon, in the meantime anyone interested can sign up for updates at ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk and follow Ilkley Half Marathon on social media for the latest news.
