A 16-year-old from Ilkley has raised more than £1,000 for charity after taking on a series of sporting challenges.
Charlotte has spent the last two years fundraising for charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.
Her latest challenge saw her complete a seven-hour run and cycle in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Charlotte has combined her passion for sport with supporting others and also works with young children through Didi Rugby.
She volunteers with Ilkley Harriers juniors, helping young runners develop their skills and confidence.
Charlotte said:
“I’ve loved helping through sport and am so grateful to everyone who’s supported me.
“Seeing their confidence grow means so much.”
And the Ilkley teenager is already planning to take her fundraising efforts further.
She hopes to establish a local running club and is working towards taking on bigger charity challenges in the future, including a 100km running challenge with appropriate training and preparation.
Charlotte hopes sharing her experiences will encourage other young people to challenge themselves and try something new.
She added:
“If sharing my experiences inspired even one person to give something a go, or made that first step feel a tiny bit less scary, I’d be so happy.”
