With an expert here in Ilkley, the Designer Travel team received the ultimate accolade from industry peers last month being named 'Top Homeworking Business Large 2026' at the prestigious TTG Top 50 Awards.
Designer Travel in Ilkley is run by John Redding, who was also shortlisted for an Ilkley Business Award earlier this year.
Proving size really isn’t everything, Designer Travel homeworking beat off competition from other UK homeworking businesses that are up to ten times their size a the TTG Top 50 Awards in Manchester which are celebrated their ten-year event anniversary this year.
John Redding explained:
“Winning this award is so special, we may not be the largest homeworking business in travel, but we strive to be the best at what we do. I am here for my customers when they need me and in recent weeks good travel agents have proved their value time and time again. As a business we are fortunate to have regular opportunities to visit destinations across the globe and we use our sharing platform – our unique Fab Bank allows to share first hand product and destination knowledge with the whole of the team. Over the last twelve months I have been fortunate enough to visit (enter all the destinations that you have personally visited over a 12–18-month period). If you are looking for a holiday for 2026, 2027 or beyond please do get in touch, I’d be delighted to help.
"After personally being shortlisted as an Ilkley Business awards finalist and Designer Travel winning the “Happiest Place to Work in Travel” award I really didn’t think things couldn’t get any better. I want to thank all my customers and friends of my business; your help and support mean the world to me. I love looking after your holiday requirements and this award really is the icing on the cake.”
"I look forward to seeing what my business can achieve over the next twelve months”
