On Friday 9th May at Ilkley Manor House, Scottish singer songwriter and musician Kim Edgar is set to warm hearts with a solo performance on piano, guitar and voice - her first ever in the area.
Kim performs as a solo artist and with Irish folk band, CARA, and has performed widely, including on Later…With Jools Holland, The Cambridge Folk Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe.
With five critically acclaimed solo albums, Kim has been described as "an example of everything that’s great about contemporary music" and "probably one of the best songwriters in Britain today." Her latest album, CONSEQUENCES, includes collaborations with Ron Sexsmith, Rachel Sermanni, Boo Hewerdine, and Horse McDonald.
Kim commented:
“I’m delighted to be performing at Ilkley Manor House in Ilkley for the first time, and look forward to meeting and connecting with new audiences here - as well as visiting such a beautiful location!”
