Menopause and Cancer, the only non-profit supporting cancer survivors through treatment-induced menopause, is organising ten guided walks in twelve months across various locations in West Yorkshire, starting in Ilkley on Saturday.
Led by trained Menopause and Cancer volunteers with lived experience, these walks will be accessible, inclusive, and paced to suit a wide range of physical abilities.
To join the walk, meet at Ilkley Park Riverside Gardens on Saturday 28 March 2026 from 10:30am.
A spokesperson said:
"Join the Menopause and Cancer community for a Wellbeing Walk in Yorkshire - a wonderful opportunity for you to meet the community and connect over shared experiences to support one another. Get moving, share experiences and meet people who truly understand your story.
"For this walk you will be meeting volunteer Jo in Ilkley Park Riverside Gardens for a walk around the gardens, before finishing up at the Riverside hotel for refreshments at the end. The walk will be suitable for all abilities and we have suitable options for wheelchair users.
"It is a wonderful chance to connect with the community, make beautiful new connections and get moving! This will be a very casual but beautiful way to meet those who understand your story the most."
The walks are free and funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
