An Ilkley businessman will appear in court next month after being picked up on warrant.
Peter Etherington, 68, was due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Friday January 9 to answer a charge brought by the Insolvency Service.
He is charged with being involved in the running of a company, PP Global Media Ltd, while being banned from acting as a company director by an existing court order.
The charge relates to a period between April 2019 and October 2022.
Etherington, of Belle Vue, Ilkley, did not appear at Court on that date, and Magistrates were told the Insolvency Service had been sent information purported to be from his family saying he was in an induced coma.
The Insolvency Service said no evidence of this had been provided, and so magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest.
Etherington has since been brought to court on the warrant, where a new court date was set.
He is now due to appear on February 13 and was bailed to appear on that date.
