Passenger Transport Services (PTS) will not operate tomorrow, Friday 9 January 2026, due to weather warnings issued for the area.
The decision was made this afternoon, with the service saying it wanted to give families and service users clear notice rather than waiting until severe weather conditions arrive.
PTS said the suspension is to ensure the safety of both passengers and staff, as snow or ice can make it difficult for school minibuses and taxis to operate safely.
The service has advised families to check its daily update webpage for the latest information on whether PTS is running. This page will be kept updated once decisions are made for each day.
