Paws at the Hub returns for a tail-wagging day of fun

Dog lovers across Ilkley are invited to join the community on Friday 29 August as the popular Paws at the Hub Dog Show returns to Clarke Foley Community Hub.

Proudly sponsored by Discover Ilkley, the show will run between 1 and 4pm.

Following the success of last year’s event, organisers are expecting another fantastic turnout, with local stallholders, family entertainment and plenty of opportunities for four-legged friends to take centre stage.

The show will feature a range of fun classes designed to celebrate dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. Categories include:

  • Best Dressed Dog
  • Best Senior Dog
  • Cutest Puppy
  • Waggiest Tail
  • Best Rescue Dog

There will also be a variety of local stalls offering pet products, gifts, treats and information from community organisations, making it a great day out for the whole family.

Last year’s event attracted dog owners and visitors from across the district, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere while raising awareness of the Clarke Foley Community Hub and its role at the heart of the Ilkley community.

A spokesperson for the Hub said:

“We were delighted by the incredible response to last year’s Paws at the Hub Dog Show and are thrilled to be bringing it back this August. It’s a wonderful opportunity for dog owners, families and local businesses to come together, celebrate our pets and enjoy a fun-filled community event. We are especially grateful to Discover Ilkley for supporting this year’s show.”

Owners are encouraged to register their dogs in advance via the form here.

Stalls are still available for £25 each, please email anna@trueengagement.co.uk to book.
