PGA Professional Joe Lovery is set to open Ilkley Golf Studios, a premium indoor golf coaching and practice facility in the heart of Ilkley.
The studio will bring world-class golf technology and year-round practice opportunities to golfers across Yorkshire.
Joe has been immersed in golf since the age of three and has been coaching full-time since 2019. Over that time, he has built a reputation as one of the region’s leading coaches, working with golfers of all abilities—from complete beginners through to elite amateur and professional players.
Among those Joe currently coaches are 18-time European Tour winner and former Ryder Cup captain Mark James, along with world-renowned caddie Billy Foster. He has also coached Huey Cunningham since his junior years, with Huey recently reaching Final Qualifying for The Open before securing a Golf scholarship in the United States. Also coached Harry Richmond who won the Junior European open championship and Yorkshire u18’s champion,
Joe said:
“The aim has always been to create a facility where golfers can genuinely improve, whatever the weather. Yorkshire golfers lose so much valuable practice time each year, and I wanted to build somewhere that offers a premium environment where people can work on every aspect of their game all year round.”
Ilkley Golf Studios will feature:
- Two state-of-the-art indoor swing bays equipped with the latest launch monitor technology.
- A dedicated putting studio featuring a specialist PuttLab system for detailed putting analysis and coaching.
- Professional coaching delivered by Joe, alongside opportunities for golfers to practise independently in a premium indoor environment.
The facility has been designed to become a hub for committed golfers looking to improve their game through high-quality practice, expert coaching and cutting-edge technology.
A Grand Opening is planned for later this year, with the official date to be announced soon.
Joe added:
“I’m incredibly excited to bring this to Ilkley. It’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time, and I can’t wait to welcome golfers through the doors. Whether you’re just starting out or competing at the highest level, I want Ilkley Golf Studios to become the best place in the area to learn, practise and improve.”
Further details on memberships, coaching and the official opening date will be announced over the coming weeks.
