Pink Pony Club delivers a night of colour, music and community

Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group delivered another unforgettable evening on Saturday as the Pink Pony Club returned to The Yard Bar.

The celebration of music, inclusivity and self-expression, saw the venue transformed into a glitter-filled, high-energy space, with attendees embracing the theme in bold and creative style - from sequins and sparkle to cowboy hats and statement outfits.

Guests danced the night away to a packed playlist of pop anthems, with the atmosphere building throughout the evening as the dancefloor filled with people coming together to celebrate in a safe and welcoming environment.

Pink Pony Club continues to grow in popularity as one of Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group’s flagship social events, offering an inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to connect, celebrate and enjoy a night out locally.

A spokesperson for Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group said:

“It was incredible to see such a strong turnout and so much energy in the room. Pink Pony Club is all about creating a space where people can feel completely themselves, and the support from the community last night was amazing.”

The event highlights the growing demand for inclusive social spaces in Ilkley and reflects the wider work of Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group in promoting equality, visibility and community connection across the town.

The group also extended thanks to The Yard Bar for hosting the event and supporting the creation of a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.

Following the success of this year’s Pink Pony Club night, Ilkley Pride & Diversity Group are now turning their attention to the annual Ilkley Pride event on Saturday 27 June at the King’s Hall & Winter Garden.
