Bradford Council planners have approved a planning application to turn vacant office space of Marcel House on Springs Lane in Ilkley into a gym which will operate 24 hours a day.
The plans would see part of lower ground floor, part of upper ground floor and first floor be converted from office space to a gym.
Existing businesses with the building, Dominos Pizza and Pi Healthcare are unaffected.
The office space was last used by Virtual College up to May of this year.
Planners noted 'the proposal does not result in a material change of use as both the existing and proposed use fall under the same Use Class'.
Ilkley Town Council recommended approval for the application.
